For weight loss, a healthy and balanced diet is a must that boosts your metabolic rate. Try high-fiber cereal in breakfast, oatmeal, brown rice, whole-wheat pasta, whole-wheat or multigrain bread. They are an excellent food group to eat to jump-start your day. Avoid stuff like parathas. Do not keep long gaps between your meals as it reduces the metabolic rate. Have small frequent meals. Eat 2 fruits and 3 servings of veggies to get a good amount of fiber which will help you lose weight. Include midway snacks like mixed dry fruits, seasonal fruits or any fruit you like or a handful of roasted channa. Stay hydrated and Preferably opt for an early dinner without carbs like a high protein grilled fish /chicken/paneer/tofu with veggies and salad. Do some kind of physical activity at least for 30minutes, 4-6 times a week.
