Foods that boost the immune system

What's the coronavirus situation in your part of the world? I know many people are spending more time at home & are avoiding social contact as much as possible in my community.

Made changes in your day to day routine?
Eating animals is linked to human disease. The best we can do for ourselves & our loved ones is to boost our immune system by eating the good stuff!

Doesn't sound so difficult does it?

Here are some healthy tools for you:
1. Refined sugar suppresses the immune system. Avoid it if you can. Use fruit, dates, & date syrup instead if you want sweet.
2. Enjoy lots of wholefoods! Cook with brown wholegrain rice for a boost rather than white rice every now and again.
3. Eat less of the processed types of food. Include more raw wholefoods foods. Try grating carrots, cabbage, ginger and garlic to your meals. Stir through your cooking creations just before serving. Your body will totally love this.
4. Make a mixed fruit & Veg smoothie daily or every other day: 1-2 handfuls of uncooked Kale, plant milk, banana, 1 peeled/cored apple, pear. Add a tsp of chlorella powder for an immunity boost.
5. Rest often and get lots of quality sleep. This boosts your immunity and our body feels under less stress when you get good sleep ??

I'm hoping you're keeping well and that you'll stay healthy through the months ahead. Eat well, be well!
